Admission Requirements: Who Can Apply?

B.NSc. Nursing Science

  • Must hold a Registered Nurse (RN) certificate. The Registered Midwifery (RM) certificate doesn’t count here.
  • Five credit passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry at not more than two sittings.

B.Sc. Computer Science

  • 100 Level: Five credits including English, Maths, Physics, and two more from Chemistry, Biology, Agric Science, Economics, or Geography.
  • Direct Entry: ND or HND with at least Lower Credit in a related course for 200 or 300 Level, plus the required “O” level subjects.

B.Sc. Accounting

  • 100 Level: Five credits in English, Maths, Economics, and two relevant subjects.
  • Direct Entry: ND or HND (Lower Credit) in Accountancy, Banking and Finance, or Business Admin for 200 or 300 Level, plus “O” level requirements.

B.Sc. Marketing

  • 100 Level: Five credits in English, Maths, Economics, and two others from Marketing, Business Administration, Geography, Commerce, Government, or Financial Accounting.
  • Direct Entry: ND or HND (Lower Credit) in a relevant course, same as above.

B.Sc. Agricultural Economics / Agricultural Extension & Rural Development

  • 100 Level: Five credits in English, Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and Agric Science or Biology.
  • Direct Entry: ND or HND (Lower Credit) in related fields, with “O” level passes as above.

B.Sc. Cybersecurity

  • 100 Level: Five credits including English, Maths, Physics, and two others from Chemistry, Biology, Agric Science, Economics, or Geography.
  • Direct Entry: ND or HND (Lower Credit) in related areas, with required “O” level subjects.

B.Sc. Science Laboratory Technology

  • 100 Level: Five credits in English, Maths, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.
  • Direct Entry: ND or HND (Lower Credit) in related fields, plus “O” level subjects as above.

B.Sc. Transport Management

  • 100 Level: Five credits in English, Maths, and any three from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Geography, Government, Commerce, or Agric Science.
  • Direct Entry: ND or HND (Lower Credit) in relevant fields, with “O” level requirements as listed.

B.Sc. Agriculture (Crop and Environmental Protection) / (Crop Production and Soil Science)

  • 100 Level: Five credits in English, Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and Agric Science or Biology.
  • Direct Entry: ND or HND (Lower Credit) in relevant agricultural disciplines, plus the same “O” level subjects.

LAUTECH Documents Verification Exercise Procedure 2025/2026

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology has announced its documents verification exercise for newly admitted students in the 2025–2026 session. The process begins on 27th September and ends on 17th October 2025. Candidates are urged to attend with the required documents and complete the steps within the given period.

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH for short, has rolled out the details for its verification and registration exercise for freshers recently offered provisional admission through JAMB. This is the official green light that takes candidates from admission letters to actual student life on campus.

Dates for LAUTECH Documents Verification Exercise

The verification will:

  • Start: Monday, 27th September 2025
  • End: Friday, 17th October 2025

Candidates must complete their checks within this window. Delay could mean trouble, as the process opens the gate to payment of school charges and access to the portal.

Venue and Timing

The screening will be held at “The Hall”, just beside the Postgraduate School. Activities run from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm daily. After verification, each student will head to the ICT Centre for biometric capturing, which then leads to the allocation of a matriculation number.

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, has published the official Post UTME cut-off marks for the 2025/2026 academic exercise. The announcement is directed at all applicants who put in for the University during their UTME.

Candidates are urged to watch out for their admission status, which will be posted on the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board’s Central Admission Processing System, often called JAMB CAPS.

The University has also sounded a note of warning. Admission is free of charge. Anyone who hands money to agents, middlemen, or unauthorised groups is putting themselves at risk of being duped. The school says it will not be held responsible for such cases.
