The management of the Gombe State University (GSU)  has published the first batch merit admission list of candidates offered provisional admission into its various undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Candidates whose names appear in the list above have been offered provisional admission into the various Degree programmes indicated against their names. They should also print out a copy of their University Admission Letter through the following procedure:

  1. Visit the www.gsu.edu.ng University website.
  2. Click on the “Registration” module link and select “Undergraduate”.
  3. Use your JAMB NUMBER as your “Username” and “gsu2025” as your default password in the login request region.
  4. Click and pay your acceptance fee.
  5. Click on “Print Admission Letter” to print out University Admission Letter and Registration Procedure.
  6. Shortlisted candidates that cannot see their admission on GSU website should go to JAMB Efacility site and upload their Olevels.

Other Things to Do If You Are Admitted

If your name appears on the list, here are the next steps to secure your admission:

  1. Accept or Reject the Admission: Log into the JAMB CAPS portal to either accept or reject the offer.
  2. Print Your JAMB Admission Letter: Once you accept the offer, print your letter from the JAMB Admission Letter portal.

Checking Your GSU Admission Status on JAMB Portal

You can also access your admission status through the JAMB CAPS portal.

Follow these simple steps to check your status:

  1. Visit the JAMB EFacility portal: efacility.jamb.gov.ng.
  2. Log in with your JAMB username and password.
  3. Scroll down to find and select the Check Admission Status option.
  4. Click on ‘Access my CAPS’
  5. Click on ‘Admission Status’ to see if you have been offered admission into GSU.

Gombe State University Post UTME and Direct Entry registration for 2025/2026 starts 1st September and closes 19th September. All first-choice candidates should register online, pay N2,000 fee, and print exam card. Read full details inside.

Registration begins on Monday, 1st September, and the doors close Friday, 19th September, 2025. Two weeks and some days, that is all. So, if you snooze, you lose.

Screening Fee And Portal

Money matter, of course. Every candidate pays N2,000, non-refundable. That payment and registration happen only online at the GSU Admission Portal.

Steps look like this:

  1. Enter JAMB registration number, click Get Details
  2. Pay the fee through card, bank, transfer, USSD, or Visa QR
  3. Fill the form and create screening account
  4. Click register
  5. See your details displayed
  6. Generate data form
  7. Print the two-page PDF (page 1 with your details, page 2 your exam card)

Attach photocopies of your papers to page 1. Bring that with originals when the physical screening comes.
