The management of the Cross River State College of Nursing Sciences, Obudu has introduced a new centralised payment system for all student fees and charges starting from the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the College management, the new process replaces all previous payment methods and directs every transaction through the official College Portal. The system aims to improve accountability, transparency, and convenience for students.
All payments are now to be made online in strict compliance with the guidelines issued by the Bursary Department.
New Payment Procedure for Students
Step 1: Pay Portal Fee
Every student must first pay a ₦15,000 portal fee before proceeding with any other payment or registration activity.
Step 2: Acceptance Fee for New Students
Newly admitted students are required to pay their acceptance fee via the College Portal. This payment grants access to the admission letter and enables students to begin registration.
Step 3: Clearance of Arrears for Returning Students
All returning students must settle any outstanding payments from previous sessions before making payments for the new academic year.
Step 4: Payment of 2025/2026 Academic Session Fees
After completing the initial steps, students can proceed to pay all approved fees and charges for the 2025/2026 academic session through the College Portal.
Digital receipts are generated automatically for every transaction and can be printed by students at any time for record purposes.
Documentation Process in the Bursary Department
After completing payments:

New students must present their printed receipts to the Student Accounts Section of the Bursary Department for full documentation.

Returning students are also required to present their receipts for physical verification and ledger update, which serves as the official backup to digital records.
The management has emphasised that these steps are mandatory and must be followed carefully to avoid payment irregularities.
