The Federal College of Horticulture, Dadin-Kowa (FCHDK), Gombe State, has announced an on-the-spot admission exercise for prospective students. The College invited applicants from Science and Social Science backgrounds, noting that candidates can apply with or without JAMB, provided they possess valid SSCE results such as WAEC or NECO. EducationNGR also learnt that successful candidates will receive their admission letters immediately after verification.
This admission opportunity is direct and simple: eligible candidates are required to appear in person with the necessary documents for screening and admission letter collection.
Who Can Apply
According to the College, the on-the-spot admission is open to:

Candidates with JAMB results

Candidates without JAMB results

Applicants from Science backgrounds

Applicants from Social Science backgrounds

Candidates with SSCE results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
The College stressed that possession of an SSCE result is compulsory, whether or not the candidate has written JAMB.

These documents will be used to verify eligibility before the admission letter is issued. Candidates without the required papers may not be attended to.
NELFUND Enrolment Information
The College also drew attention to NELFUND enrolment for eligible candidates. It stated that students who qualify can benefit from the scheme, which is designed to ease the burden of school fees.
