Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), formerly known as Anambra State University, has announced the date and arrangements for its 2025/2026 Matriculation Ceremony.
The university stated that the ceremony is scheduled in accordance with its academic calendar as approved by the Senate.
COOU Matriculation Date And Campuses
The 2025/2026 matriculation ceremony will hold on Friday, 13th February, 2026.
COOU confirmed that the ceremony will be conducted as a campus-based event rather than a single central gathering.
The matriculation will take place simultaneously at the following campuses:

Igbariam Campus
-
Uli Campus
Each campus will organise and conduct its own matriculation programme on the same day.
Time Schedule For The Ceremony
The university fixed the time for the matriculation ceremony as follows:

Start time: 11:00 am

End time: 4:00 pm
The schedule applies to both the Igbariam and Uli campuses.
Party Ban On Matriculation Day
The University Management has announced a ban on the organisation or holding of any form of party within the university premises on the day of matriculation.
According to the directive, any staff or student found violating the ban will face disciplinary action. The instruction applies across all campuses and university spaces.
Message To Fresh Students
The university extended goodwill to its newly admitted students and advised them to take note of the matriculation date, time, and campus arrangements.
