BSUAST IFES Issues Urgent Notice on 2026 JAMB and O’Level Exams

The management of the Institute of Foundation & Entrepreneurship Studies (IFES), Benue State University of Agriculture, Science and Technology (BSUAST), Ihugh, has issued an official notice to all students enrolled in its Pre-Degree and Remedial programmes.

The directive, released through the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, is for immediate compliance and applies to both newly admitted and returning students.

The university outlined mandatory academic requirements that affect every Pre-Degree and Remedial student under IFES. According to the management, these directives are not optional and are critical to students’ academic progression.

2026 JAMB Registration and Examination

All Pre-Degree and Remedial students are required to register for and sit for the 2026 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Examination (JAMB).

The official JAMB registration window, as stated in the notice, is as follows:

• Registration opens: 26 January 2026

• Registration closes: 28 February 2026

The university warned students against late action, noting that failure to complete registration within the approved period may negatively affect their academic plans.

O’Level Deficiencies: Required Action

Students who have deficiencies in their O’Level results have been directed to register for and write the 2026 WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB examinations to correct any failed or missing subjects.

The management made it clear that unresolved O’Level deficiencies will not be overlooked, and affected students must take responsibility for remedying them through the appropriate examinations.

BSUAST stated that the directive is issued for the information of all concerned students and demands immediate compliance. No additional conditions or extensions were announced.

Students in the Pre-Degree and Remedial programmes are therefore advised to act promptly and ensure full compliance with all stated requirements to avoid future academic complications.
